These contracts provide security against adverse financial and political changes in their resident countries. This market segment also wants a strong, stable and reputable company, like CILC, backing their policies. Improved access to information about financial products, primarily driven by the Internet, has created a strong demand for offshore life insurance products. These products are not only designed to provide family protection, but also for: Buy-sell funding and key person coverage. International credit and lending situations requiring life insurance policies as prerequisites to cover their clients' obligations. Personal insurance needs of US expatriates residing in other countries. Please note: US permanent residents are not eligible to purchase CILC products. Underwriting CILC will underwrite all life policies. Individual underwriting allows better coverage at a lower cost. A list of approved labs and procedures are included in the Underwriting Guide. Products The international version of ViaTerm 10, 15, 20, and ViaPro 30 are now ready for sale as well as our new product ViaTerm 25. We are hoping to pursue other products such as annuities and variable life later.
